Day one of preschool is all about keeping it simple. 🌟 I teach a half-day program (three hours), so the focus is on routines and feeling safe. First, students learn how to hang up their backpacks, answer the question of the day, and play at table time. Once everyone is settled, we cover the basics: I’m their teacher and I’m here to help them, they can use the bathroom whenever they need, my #1 job is to keep them safe, and their job is to be kind, help clean up, and wash their hands. 💙 We read
