A rare Indonesian flower was spotted in glorious full bloom in West Sumatra. A Rafflesia tuan-mudae flower was found in the Maninjau reserve, three hours away from Padang, on July 23. The flower is known for its large size – this specimen was measured to be 100.8 centimeters in diameter. Footage shows incredible close-ups of the rugged texture of the flower as well as its bud.
