A wildfire burned thousands of acres in Tuolumne County, northern California, according to state fire officials. Video released on Tuesday (September 2) by the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office showed flames advancing near roads and emergency vehicles positioned close to the fire line. The blaze, was reported at 8:23 PM on September 2 near Don Pedro Overlook Trail and Old Pedro Road in the Red Hills area. It has since scorched more than 6,800 acres, according to Cal Fire Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit.
