An amazing adventure in the Ruby Mountains hiking along the Lamoille and Dollar Lakes Trail with incredible views during sunset. Located just south of Elko, NV and Spring Creek along the Lamoille Canyon Scenic Byway. You need snowshoes now to get in there this time of year, and the road may be closed a few miles in. Scenic views from the Ruby Mountains in eastern Nevada and Lamoille Canyon. There's a campground in the summer and great hiking trails all around. The Lamoille Canyon Scenic Byway is located just south of Elko, NV and does get closed in the winter so check ahead. You can also do heli-skiing here!
