On September 8, 2018, the train station at World Trade Center Cortlandt re-opened. The events of 9/11 destroyed seven buildings and the train station below. In the rebuilding process, the WTC subway station received many upgrades including ADA compliant entrances and air conditioning. It also opened with a stunning work of art called CHORUS by Ann Hamilton.
