The Blitz Museum reopens today! Tucked in the Cathedral Ruins and down medieval steps explore a treasure trove of 1940s memorabilia and artefacts. Discover life during wartime Coventry with our friendly and knowledgeable volunteer team! The Blitz Museum reopens it’s door from Saturday 14th Feb open Saturdays 11-3pm and Sundays 12-3pm with select weekdays days over half-term. Head over to our website to find out full details! Thursday the 14th of November marks the 84th anniversary of the Coventry Blitz of 1940, a night which saw devastation across Coventry and saw the destruction of the Cathedral Church of St. Michael. Coventry Cathedral will mark this year’s Blitz anniversary and the season of Remembrance with a concert and lecturer as part of Coventry Peace Festival, an exhibition and film screening and special services including the vigil on Thursday the 14th November in the Ruins.
