One of the BEST parts of this trip was going to Henry Cowell State Park to see the redwoods! Yes they are all over the mountains I would run around in, but this park is where the HUGE ones are! Plus it just has a lot of wonderful memories of running the trails. And there is just something about the sound of the trees, and the smell of this particular mixture of dirt. I couldn’t walk far because of my health stuff, but I didn’t need to. And we saw a banana slug! Some random people put it up there
