Most of those issues have been fixed in the latest couple upgrades. There are still issues, but Volvo has been extremely helpful with these issues. If customers are willing I have a bunch that report glitches directly to Volvo though the car (this has to be enabled). They are really trying hard to get all of the bugs worked out.

I don't feel like being reamed by a dealer and have to driver 50+ miles just to have a Volvo dealer do maintenance. Volvo probably won't help in my case.
