In the month of July, in 1899, an organized group of children stopped the city! Hundreds of boys and girls who sold newspapers on the streets of New York marched onto the Brooklyn Bridge and other places around the city in order to put a halt to traffic and other businesses.

In Brooklyn Bridge he recorded one of the greatest icons of modernity. Completed in 1883, this impressive structure was still the longest suspension bridge in the world when Ranger painted it sixteen years later.
