The Office of Child Development and Care (CDC) supports low-income working families by providing access to affordable, high-quality early care and afterschool programs. To achieve this end, the office supports numerous efforts designed to assess and improve the level of quality across the spectrum of Michigan's early learning and care settings.

Trends reported by the CDC show that nation-wide COVID-19 test positivity and emergency department visits are low. The dashboard displays the most recent provisional data about confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases reported to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS).

MDHHS will update Michigan's guidance when additional information becomes available from the CDC. Michigan continues to experience high rates of transmission and has several tools to further prevent the spread of COVID-19.
