Helicopter Unit - Kansas City Police Department
Today, the Helicopter Section is comprised of two sergeant/pilots, six officers/pilots, two full time and one part-time mechanics. There are two shifts and each shift is comprised of one sergeant/pilot and three officers/pilots who have their FAA commercial rotorcraft pilot ratings.
