Tesco has announced it will cut 400 jobs as it unveils plans to "simplify" its in-store bakeries. It has been reported that most of those impacted will be workers employed with the bakery team as the brand looks to have goods baked outside the supermarket.

Managers in its head office and Tesco Mobile phone shops, as well as staff at some of its in-store bakeries, will be affected.
