The Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to launch in 39 countries, according to a report from PhoneArena, citing a reliable source. The list of countries includes regions like Europe, Asia, and the Middle East but notably excludes the US.

There's growing evidence that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim won't be coming to the U.S., with the latest claim coming from a source speaking to PhoneArena.

Samsung is rumoured to launch a new variant in its Galaxy S25 series — likely the Galaxy S25 Slim. However, according to a new report, this variant will only be available in selected countries, excluding the U.

The source claims that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim has dimensions of 159 x 76 x 6.4mm (rising to 8.3mm if you include the camera bump). For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus (which this is expected to have a similar size screen to) is 158.5 x 75.9 x 7.7mm.

This is interesting because it directly contradicts previous intel. Last month, the leaker Erencan Yılmaz revealed a Galaxy S25 Slim model number — SM-S937B/DS — which he claimed indicated a worldwide release (the ‘B’ in the code referring to it being sold in all regions that Samsung operates in).

It's a new year, and Samsung is gearing up for a slate of new phones. The company's winter Unpacked event is just days away, and we expect the reveal of the Galaxy S25, as well as updates to Galaxy AI .

The Galaxy S25 series is slated to be announced on Wednesday, but we may also get surprise appearances on the wearables side.

The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event for the Galaxy S25 series is set for Wednesday, January 22, starting at 10 a.m. PST, 1 p.m. EST, or 6 p.m GMT. Like previous Galaxy Unpacked events, Samsung will live stream the Unpacked event across multiple platforms.
