Carlos Alcaraz once again overcame Jack Draper to advance to the semifinals of the Rome Open with a 6-4, 6-4 victory. The Spaniard recovered from an early setback and accelerated at crucial moments to reach his 11th Masters 1000 semifinal.

Carlos Alcaraz and Jack Draper embraced a top-5 battle in the quarter-final at the Rome Masters. Carlos bested his good friend 6-4, 6-4 in an hour and 37 minutes for his first semi-final at Foro Italico.

The Spaniard also bagged a top-two seeding at the French Open which begins later this month, but in the meantime the four-time Grand Slam winner continues his bid for a first Rome crown.
