The Texas Longhorns are the new NCAA softball champions. Texas jumped all over Texas Tech in the decisive Game 3 of the Women's College World Series on Friday night to earn the first title in program history.

The Texas Longhorns and Texas Tech Red Raiders are set to face off in Game 2 of the Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City.

Texas Tech’s NiJaree Canady threw every pitch for the Red Raiders in the Women’s College World Series, all the way through the first two games of the championship series and the first inning of the third.
