Ryan O'Hearn hit a three-run homer, Tomoyuki Sugano struck out eight in five shutout innings and the Baltimore Orioles held on to defeat the visiting New York Yankees 4-3 on Monday in the opener of a three-game series.

It looks like almost an entire pitching crew is on the Baltimore injured list at the present time. Seven pitchers, all starters, are on the IL. Add starting outfielders Tyler O’Neill and Colton Cowser, and there's a lot of traffic on that list.
