Chuck Todd, former moderator of NBC’s “Meet the Press,” is leaving the network after nearly 20 years.

Chuck Todd, who served as moderator of the Sunday morning NBC News franchise “Meet the Press” from 2014 to 2023, announced to colleagues Friday morning that he is leaving the network. Since handing the “Meet the Press” moderator baton to Kristen Welker, Todd has served as NBC’s chief political analyst.

Former “Meet the Press” moderator Chuck Todd is leaving NBC News after nearly 18 years at the network. Todd said in a memo to NBC News colleagues that Friday was his last day. He'll continue doing his podcast and said he's considering new projects,
