The 26-year-old catcher joined the team this past offseason via a trade with the New York Yankees, who shipped him to their biggest rivals after just six MLB appearances.

Connor Wong will start behind the dish while Narvaez gets a breather as Boston closes out its series with New York with a day game. Narvaez had started each of the past four games and went 5-for-14 with three doubles, three walks, two runs and one RBI.
