Tesla's Cybertruck deliveries are being delayed due to issues with the window trim. The decorative trim connecting the windows to the roof is reportedly attached using only adhesive, making it prone to detachment.

Tesla is recalling 46,096 examples of the Cybertruck due to an exterior trim panel possibly detaching from the main structure. This is every 2024 and 2025 Tesla Cybertruck built from November 13, 2023, to February 27, 2025. Tesla says it has a remedy to the problem and expects only 1% of possibly affected trucks to have this defect.

Tesla Inc. recalled all the Cybertrucks it produced and sold in the first 15 months it’s been on the US market over a safety issue it’s having trouble resolving.
