The No. 4 spot on the draft board is still a premium draft selection, and the Patriots will have a crack at one of the top-four players in college football. It might make them less likely to trade the pick now out of fear of missing on a potential game-changer right out of the gates.

The Patriots could have clinched the top selection for the first time since 1993, but their victory, combined with losses by Tennessee, Cleveland, and the Giants, improved their record to 4-13 and dropped their pick.

Entering this offseason, the New England Patriots hold the fourth-overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft after winning their season finale against the Buffalo Bills and dropping out of the top selection.
