SAN JOSE — The San Jose Sharks have signed veteran defenseman Dmitry Orlov to a two-year contract, according to reports. The deal is worth $13 million and carries a cap hit of $6.5 million, according t o Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman.

The Sharks are looking to trade a defenseman this offseason after their recent acquisition of Dmitry Orlov in free agency.
