Police arrested on Sunday a 30-year-old man in India’s financial capital Mumbai whom they said was considered the prime suspect in the stabbing of Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan. The assault shocked the country’s film industry and raised concerns over the lack of security in Mumbai,

The Mumbai Police found that the accused had met a labour contractor in Worli Kolivada, the man who later helped them trace down the attacker.

The police have arrested Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, a Bangladeshi national, for the attack that took place at the Bollywood star's house in Bandra in the early hours of Thursday.
