A monkey in a pink tutu that slipped out of a Missouri home was captured just before a winter storm slammed the state.
"After negotiations, deputies managed to control the situation without incident," said the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office on Facebook.
The spider monkey was spotted near an intersection of two highways. It had been living in a nearby home when it managed to escape by unlocking a door.
