LORAIN, Ohio (WOIO) - Investigators say shooting suspect Michael Joseph Parker, 28, of North Lakeview Boulevard, in Lorain was found with multiple high-powered rifles, handguns and large amounts of an explosive called Tannerite.
The gunman accused of ambushing three Lorain police officers had previously been cited by the officer killed following a 2022 crash.
Police Officer Brent Payne, who was shot in Lorain while on a lunch break with fellow officers, was released from the hospital on Saturday with a police procession.
