A nuclear power plant is coming to the triad. The new Duke Energy plant will be in Stokes County. It'll generate power for thousands of people across the Carolinas and even in parts of Virginia.

TVA is accepting proposals from qualified integrators and providers to design, engineer, build, operate, and maintain a battery energy storage system in Roane County, Tennessee.
