The fusillade from the brothers, who left Romania last week under the cloud of criminal investigation for human trafficking (allegations they deny), has been constant since Attorney General James Uthmeier announced that his office is using the “full force of law,” including “secured and executed subpoenas and warrants,” against the Tates.

Florida’s attorney general has opened a criminal investigation into Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan, who traveled to the U.S. last week. James Uthmeier yesterday confirmed on social media an investigation was underway.

Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate, who are charged with rape and human trafficking in Romania, have had their presence in Florida scrutinized after a travel ban against them was lifted.

March 5 (UPI) -- The Attorney General's Office of Florida has opened a criminal investigation into Andrew and Tristan Tate.

"We're going to pursue every tool we have within our legal authority to hold them accountable," Attorney General James Uthmeier said.
