Jameis Winston said on Monday that his "initial vision approaching this offseason" was to find a team that would give him "either a starting role or bridge opportunity to be the starting quarterback," but it looks like he's destined for other things.

Though the New York Giants have signed both Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston this spring, another quarterback early in the draft is not off the table.

Jameis Winston didn’t talk about how many yards or touchdowns he plans to throw for the Giants this season, mostly because he knows it might not be his job to do that. He’s currently the backup quarterback behind Russell Wilson and he could get pushed even further down the depth chart if the team selects a quarterback early enough in the upcoming draft.
