A resident has not agreed in writing to never project a "Trump 2024" sign on a Massachusetts town's water tower again. It's left town officials in a bind.

Amid the ongoing dispute over the sign, town employees have received “a number of inappropriate and vulgar phone calls and emails," officials said.

The Hanson Select Board calls the situation “deeply unfortunate and unnecessary,” and says it has resulted in at least one voicemail threat made towards a town official.
