By Martyn Herman LONDON (Reuters) -Top seed Jannik Sinner ensured Novak Djokovic will be absent from a Wimbledon men's singles final for the first time in eight years after handing the Serbian great a brutal Centre Court battering on Friday.
The miracle failed Novak Djokovic this time. The Serbian legend hoped to make tennis history once again by clinching his eighth Wimbledon title, but he could do nothing against a deluxe version of Jannik Sinner who prevailed in three sets on Centre Court and reached his fourth Grand Slam final in a row.
