CINCINNATI, Ohio (WKBN) – The Cincinnati Reds have officially hired Chris Valaika as the Director of Hitting and Major League Hitting Coach. He spent the past three seasons as the hitting coach with the Cleveland Guardians. Valaika joins former Cleveland manager Terry Francona who was recently hired as the Reds’ new manager.
