Dozens of people were killed across the enclave the previous day, bringing the total killed in the past 24 hours to 56.

Israelis also woke up to attacks early Friday morning. Israel said missiles were fired into the country from Yemen, which set off air raid sirens in Jerusalem and central Israel and sent people scrambling to shelters.

The Israeli military released footage Sunday that it says shows the evacuation of Palestinian civilians from a hospital it raided last week. Gaza's health ministry said dozens of civilian hospital staff were detained during and following the raid.

Benjamin Netanyahu's office said representatives of the Mossad intelligence agency and military would attend the talks but gave no further details. There has been no immediate comment from Hamas. View
