A native of Stirling is now in the Buffalo Sabres Hall of fame. Fifty-six-year-old Rob Ray received the honour before Buffalo’s game against Nashville. The man known as a tough guy nearly broke into tears as the crowd gave him a standing ovation. He played 14 of his 16 seasons with Buffalo and is now broadcasting Sabres games.
