Suraaj party chief Prashant Kishor, who was protesting at Gandhi Maidan in Patna, was detained by Bihar Police.

Kishor had been sitting on fast-unto-death at Gandhi Maidan since January 2, demanding a re-test of the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) examination prelims. He was produced before a court after being detained in the early hours of Monday, and sent to judicial custody after he refused to agree to the conditions of his bail.
