Game 1 of this series saw the Astros jump out to a 7-2 lead and hold on late for a 7-6 win. Chas McCormick smacked his first home run of the season and Ramon Urias hit his first since being traded to Houston to pace the attack. Alex Bregman went yard for the Sox in his first game back in Space City.

The Boston Red Sox acquired Dustin May from the Los Angeles Dodgers at the deadline, adding to their rotation in the hopes of a playoff push. While Boston has been playing a lot better and has a realistic shot at a Wild Card, May isn’t having a banner year.

Ramón Urías has led the Houston Astros to a 7-6 victory over the Boston Red Sox with three hits, including a two-run homer. The game took place Monday night.
