The move marks the eighth safety-related recall for the Tesla-made vehicles since deliveries began just over a year ago. Initiated by the National Highway Traffic Safety

The recall of about 46,000 vehicles includes all models that were manufactured from November 2023, when the Cybertruck was first produced, through February.

This is the eighth recall the stainless-clad vehicle has collected in the mere two years it’s been on the road. But unlike many of its previous offenses, this is one of the first significant body repairs that can’t be addressed with a simple over-the-air update.
