Buffalo Bills safety Taylor Rapp exited Sunday's AFC divisional playoff game against the visiting Baltimore Ravens with a hip injury.

Bills starting safety Taylor Rapp sustained a hip injury in the first half against the Ravens and was ruled out for Sunday's game.

In a snowy affair, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson chucked the ball up under pressure. The only one that could, and did, get to the ball was Rapp. That play ended the Ravens’ second drive on offense and kept the score at a 7-7 tie in the first quarter.

Bills safety Taylor Rapp intercepted Lamar Jackson in the first quarter but was carted to the locker room in the second quarter.

Rapp is listed with hip and back injuries. After taking a hit that was feared could have left him with a broken him, Rapp was carted off the field and taken to be x-rayed. His examination did not reveal any broken bones, but he was not ready to return to practice on Wednesday or Thursday.

Buffalo Bills starting safety Taylor Rapp was ruled out for the AFC Championship Game on Sunday against the host Kansas City Chiefs.

Bills cornerback Christian Benford was placed in concussion protocol after the victory over the Ravens, coach Sean McDermott said Monday.
