ORLANDO, Fla. — Shane Lowry loves the grind of a strong test and it's showing at Bay Hill. He had six birdies Friday in slightly tamer conditions for a 5-under 67, giving him a two-shot lead going into the weekend at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Topping the leaderboard after the second round was a relaxed Shane Lowry, who fired a five-under-par 67 to open up a two-shot lead at the halfway stage. The 37-year-old Irishman reeled off six birdies and one bogey to head into the weekend at the Bay Hill Club & Lodge on eight under through 36 holes.
