Two of his victims were attacked in London, when Zou was living in student accommodation in Bloomsbury and at a £4,000-a-month rented apartment in Elephant and Castle. Eight more women were attacked in China during Zou’s trips home, in offences spanning from 2019 to May 2023.
He studied part his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering at Queen’s University Belfast from 2017 to 2019. He was an exchange student from the sister university Guangdong University of Technology. Zou then moved to London to do a Master’s and PhD in the same subject at UCL. Zhenhao Zou is no longer a student at UCL.
