The Jets suffered a bad defeat at the hands of the Hockey Club of Utah in Salt Lake City on Monday but the bigger loss was that captain Adam Lowry only ended up playing in the 1st period and not returning after the 1st intermission. The assumption was he was injured early in the game on this play.

Adam Lowry is Winnipeg's de facto No. 2 centre, making his extended absence a troubling item for the top team in the West.
