ESPN recently concluded its annual series of NFL positional rankings — as voted by NFL executives, coaches, and scouts. Ten members of the Super Bowl champion Eagles made the cut — while another was an honorable mention — but not everyone was happy with where their favorite players landed.

On July 16, Barkley learned that he would be making room for one more thing on the mantel – the ESPYS' "Best NFL Player" award. Barkley received the award over fellow nominees Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson and Patrick Surtain II.

Jalen Hurts was not considered a top-five quarterback in the NFL, according to a recent poll. A former player-turned-analyst went off on the rankings this week.
