One person was killed and another person was injured in a shooting in Lexington Thursday evening, according to the Lexington Police Department. The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. on the 3600 block of Tates Creek Road. Lexington police Lt. Dillan Taylor said officers responded to a report of shots fired and found two victims at the scene.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Parts of Tates Creek Road have been shut down to a crash with reported injuries. Crews were called to the intersection of Tates Creek Road and Saron Drive just before 8 a.m. Thursday in response to a crash. The extent of any injuries is currently unknown.
