Christopher Moynihan faces felony charges for allegedly threatening House Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries days after receiving a presidential pardon.

An upstate New York man who was pardoned by President Donald Trump for his actions at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 allegedly threatened to kill House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, New York State Police said.

Christopher Moynihan, 34, was charged with one felony count of making a terroristic threat. In 2023, he was sentenced to prison on Jan. 6 charges.

Prosecutors said Christopher Moynihan was among the first rioters to enter the Capitol grounds and watched rioters fight with police at the rotunda door.
