An army vehicle was attacked near Botapather in Jammu and Kashmir’s Gulmarg on Thursday evening. At least 1 civilian was killed and four soldiers were injured in the terror attack

"Two Indian Army soldiers and two civilian porters were killed in the terrorist attack on a military vehicle in Baramulla," Army officials said in a statement. "One soldier and one porter are injured and undergoing treatment," it added.

Over half a dozen terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir have claimed over 15 lives in the last two weeks, disrupting peace in the valley after assembly elections.

The terrorists carried out an ambush on the Army vehicle when the vehicle reached the remote Botpathri area. The security forces have launched counter operations in response to the terror attack.
