Arne Slot has said that Diogo Jota will miss Liverpool's clash against Premier League title rivals Arsenal on Sunday after the forward suffered an injury during the team's 2-1 win over Chelsea last weekend.

Arne Slot has confirmed Diogo Jota will not be available for Liverpool’s trip to Arsenal on Sunday. The Portugal international has been Slot’s preferred option to lead the line for much of the season so far with four goals and two assists in 10 appearances.

Liverpool will be without Diogo Jota for their crunch Premier League clash with Arsenal on Sunday. The forward sustained an injury in last weekend’s 2-1 win against Chelsea at Anfield and subsequently missed the 1-0 victory away at RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Wednesday.
