Another wave of severe thunderstorms could bring apple-sized hail, wind gusts up to 80 mph and the potential for tornadoes, forecasters said Friday.

A stormy Friday is in store for parts of Colorado as the threat of severe weather looms, especially for areas east of the I-25 corridor.

Thunderstorms are expected again over Southern Colorado on Friday, and some of them are going to be strong. There’s a lot of wind shear in the atmosphere today, and that is going to help storms rotate.
