TAMPA — We took a hard-hat tour Wednesday of Busch Gardens' newest land, Wild Oasis, now under construction for a spring opening. In an area that used to house the now-closed Jungala realm of tree-top climbing next to animal exhibits, the Wild Oasis aims to blend entertainment, exploration and education into one lively rainforest-themed space.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay announced new details about its Wild Oasis section, featuring new attractions and rides, on Monday.

Wild Oasis will be located within Busch Gardens’ Jungala section of the park. The Habitat Hideway exhibit will feature giant anteaters, squirrel monkeys, capybaras and tropical birds. There will be aerial and ground-level perspectives for visitors.
