A Boeing jet intended for use by a Chinese airline landed back at the planemaker's U.S. production hub on Sunday, a victim of the tit-for-tat bilateral tariffs launched by President Donald Trump in his global trade offensive.

After the Chinese government reportedly told domestic airlines not to purchase new planes from Boeing, one jet had to be returned to the U.S. from a facility near Shanghai.

Things are getting real. China recently returned three 737 MAX jets from the Zhoushan completion center to Seattle, according to the Air Current.
