Ukraine launched a large drone attack overnight on Russia that led to the country closing several airports in and around Moscow. More than 100 drones hit targets across 11 regions in Russia on Tuesday,

All four international airports around Moscow temporarily suspended flights on Tuesday as Russia says its forces intercepted more than 100 Ukrainian drones.

Ukraine said it hit a drone command unit in the Kursk region, amid reports of fresh attempts to cross into Russia. Sunday's attack on the unit was located near the Russian village of Tyotkino, according to the Ukrainian general staff.
