As a search continues for the person behind this weekend's mass shooting, Brown University was planning to issue early-decision admission offers to applicants Wednesday evening.

Investigators believe the rented vehicle is the same make and model of a car identified in connection with the shooting Monday night of the M.I.T. professor in Brookline, Mass., the official said.
