A man has been seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash which involved a police car responding to an emergency call in Liverpool. He was driving a Ford Focus which was in collision with a police Skoda that had its blue lights flashing and siren sounding, said Merseyside Police.

Austin Police are investigating the cause of a car crash in North Austin that sent a police officer to the hospital.

The crash is said to have been between a vehicle and a number of parked cars. Police did not provide details of any injuries but North West Ambulance Service have been contacted f
